People

Four partners. Each of them spent two to three decades building and running the kind of business we now invest in: long-distance and international voice, fixed and mobile operators, backbone fibre networks, and the communications platforms that grew on top of them. Those careers were made in the telecoms industry in Russia, between the mid-1990s and 2021. They were operators before they were investors, and that is the order in which they read a business.

How we make decisions

Boxwood is a small team, and every investment decision is made by the partners named on this page. There is no investment committee you will never meet: the people who decide are the people you will work with.
