Regulatory status

Boxwood Group is not authorised or regulated by any financial supervisory authority. It manages no third-party capital, operates no collective investment undertakings and provides no investment services to third parties.

Structure

Boxwood Group is privately held by its founding partners. It manages no third-party capital and operates no funds. Investments are made from the partners’ own capital.

Boxwood Beograd is the group’s operating platform in Serbia and the Western Balkans.

How decisions are made

Investment decisions are taken by the partners named on our People page. There is no separate investment committee and no external approval layer. Every partner who votes on an investment is a partner who will be involved in it afterwards.

Conflicts of interest

Partners hold roles outside Boxwood, including in businesses in adjacent sectors. Any such interest is disclosed to the other partners before an investment is discussed, and the partner concerned does not participate in the decision.

Compliance

We apply know-your-customer and anti-money-laundering checks to counterparties in every transaction, and we expect the same of the companies we invest in. Our companies operate in regulated telecommunications markets, and regulatory compliance is a standing board agenda item rather than an annual review.

Responsible investment

We do not publish an ESG policy we do not yet apply. What we do apply is straightforward: we invest in businesses with real revenue and lawful operations, we require proper governance and reporting from day one, and we take responsibility for the employment we own.
