Arthur leads transaction execution at Boxwood — valuation, structuring, negotiation and the debt and equity arrangements that sit around an investment.

Background

Arthur has been CFO and finance director of companies across several industries, from hospitality to telecom operators to internet businesses. That work on roll-ups and scale placed him continuously in M&A, capital transactions and the raising of debt and equity for growth. In that capacity he worked for Radisson SAS, Metromedia International Telecommunications, Kosmos-TV, PeterStar, Synterra and Rambler Media, completing several dozen transactions in the TMT sector.

Over the last decade he has specialised in investments and asset management. He is a Partner at UFG Private Equity, an institution-backed private equity manager in Russia. Among other projects, he was responsible for UFG’s investments in ride-hailing (Vezet) and in shared-use telecom infrastructure (Russian Towers).

Beyond work

Arthur enjoys working on the improvement of business processes. If he were not a financier he would be a cobbler. He loves opera and is always short of the time needed to read everything he has planned.
