Sarkor Telecom told subscribers on 20 March 2025 that from 25 March it would raise internet speeds on a range of tariff plans without additional charge. The announcement named the plans individually — twenty-five in all by our count, among them Mandarin 75, Arbuz 100, Orange Wi-Fi 100, Mehr 70+TV, Bayram 20, Wi-Fi NEW 50 and Konstruktor 1 / Unlim. Prices were left unchanged and the company said the upgrade would be applied automatically, with no action required from subscribers.
Two weeks later Sarkor said it had carried out what it described as a large-scale modernisation of its telecommunications network, and that speeds on some archived tariff plans would rise while their prices were revised. It gave no figures for either. Further network modernisation notices, each naming specific Tashkent streets and districts, were published on the company’s own channels throughout the second half of 2025. All were published in Russian.
