On 27 June 2024 Sarkor Telecom announced a cloud video surveillance service. Under the model the company describes, the operator supplies the cameras, equipment and cabling and carries out the installation, so the customer buys no hardware. Recordings are held on a remote server rather than on the customer’s premises, and Sarkor says they can be viewed online from any device and any location.
The service is sold through a dedicated site, camera.sarkor.uz, and through the company’s service line. Sarkor’s own undated company history lists IP video surveillance from 2017; the 2024 announcement moves it to a hosted, equipment-included model.
Video surveillance now appears alongside internet access, IP telephony, cloud infrastructure, data centre and colocation services in the business portfolio Sarkor set out in its exhibitor profile for ICT Week Uzbekistan. That profile is written by the company and carries no date. The announcement was published in Russian.
