Apifonica says it has passed its ISO/IEC 27001 audit. In the same update the company states that an independent penetration test of its platform — covering web applications, APIs and networks, carried out by ScienceSoft to a methodology aligned with the EU’s Digital Operational Resilience Act — completed a full test, fix and retest cycle with no high or medium-severity vulnerabilities outstanding. Apifonica says the attestation letter is available to customers on request; Boxwood has not seen it.
The company also reports continuing work on AI governance, with internal policies on AI tool usage and documented procedures for AI features in its products due for publication in the same quarter, in line with the EU AI Act.
The update goes on to describe how the company reviews live deployments. On the inbound information line at Katowice Airport, Apifonica says an analysis of nearly 9,000 conversations across April and May produced three changes: language selection moved to the start of the call, transfers that previously disconnected after twenty seconds of silence extended to three minutes with a queue update, and one added question to route callers asking for a person.
