TENIOS says it entered the European Contact Centre and Customer Service Awards for the first time in 2025, reached the top eight in two categories and was the only German company in the final. It did not win either category.

The company says both entries were submitted jointly with customers, and both come from utilities, where call volumes are high and data protection requirements are strict. On the meter reading programme run by bluepartner for the Berlin water utility Berliner Wasserbetriebe, TENIOS reports that 91 per cent of calls are now handled automatically or fully pre-qualified, more than 95 per cent of them without error, and around 70 per cent faster. On the second entry, with süc // dacor, a municipal utility group in Bavaria, it reports 88 per cent of calls automated or pre-qualified and availability holding at 100 per cent during peak periods.

Boxwood was not able to match either entry against the organiser’s published finalist list, so the account above is the company’s own. Stefan Kovacs, then managing director, said TENIOS would return the following year. The original is published in German.
